CBHA has local residents at the heart of all its activities.

We are a community-based organisation providing housing and related services to around 1,600 properties in Waltham Forest.

But our activities extend far beyond the simple provision of housing. We aim to support the community we serve through training and employment initiatives, boosting skills and offering guidance and activities that involve everyone.

IIP gold (2)
       CBHA wins gold
CBHA has joined the elite group of organisations in the country to reach the Investors in People (IIP) Gold Award. Only 1.23% of organisations accredited with IIP achieve the top standard.

CBHA was able to show that it had developed a culture that is entrenched in delivering excellent services to all it’s customers and a commitment to improving lives.

Chief executive Gary De Ferry said:

“Everyone here is so pleased to have “won” gold.  I see the result as confirmation that our approach of investing in staff and encouraging an inclusive and supportive culture not only makes for a good working environment but is also a great way to do business.

This way of working helps us to achieve our business goals and fulfil our mission which is ultimately about improving the lives of our residents."
