What’s going on with Resident Involvement?
CBHA's Scrutiny Panel completed their last piece of work in the spring. Since then they've been working with us to help shape the scrutiny arrangements for Waltham Forest after its merger with Peabody.
The new group – we've not yet decided on the final name yet – will focus on monitoring performance and ensuring that we stick to the promises made to CBHA residents. We hope to finalise the terms of reference and publish more details in the New Year, including how residents can get involved.
The scrutiny group for the whole organisation is the Residents Council, which has been running since April. They're responsible for detailed scrutiny reviews and ensuring we consult properly on policy. You can find out more about the Residents Council here. We're always looking for new members, so if you feel you have the skills to be a part of the council, please complete the form and let us know.
There's a host of different ways you can be involved, from completing a quick survey, to being involved in your local community.Download our resident involvement guide to find out more
In particular – if you would like to set up a group to represent your local neighbourhood we can help you get started.
