Holiday programmes
The CBHA fund and organise activity programmes throughout all of the main school holidays. These schemes cover events like adventure park visits, outward bound and camping trips and other physical activities such as sports coaching.
The aims of these schemes include involving as many of our children and young people as possible to promote partnership working, respect for others and self worth. All of the schemes involve both paid employees and volunteers, who go through a strict checking process to ensure that they are suitable to work with young people.
As well as the success in providing low cost activities during times when young people’s attention may be diverted by other things, the schemes have proved to be a valuable way of securing paid employment for many of our volunteers.
