Residents will see contractors starting work this week on painting front doors, windows and communal areas of CBHA properties.
The external painting of all CBHA homes will be carried out in a five-year programme. It will start with the oldest properties – originally called Phase 1 and some of our street properties. Our new external painting contractors Saltash Enterprises Ltd will be working on these homes in each of the four areas.
All residents whose properties are included in the first year have been written to. Saltash Enterprises Ltd site staff will contact these residents to arrange a suitable time to visit the property and to agree a start date.
Saltash Enterprises Ltd is based in South London and has worked in the construction and social housing sector since 1986.
Maintenance Manager Emma Luscombe said: “We remind residents that all members of Saltash Enterprises Ltd staff will be wearing identity badges and be dressed in corporate clothing which includes the Saltash Enterprises Ltd name and logo.
“Please do not let anybody in your property who does not have identification. If you wish to confirm anybody’s identification, please ring Saltash Enterprises Ltd’s resident liaison officer Sharon Bandelow on 0779 171 5262.”
