CBHA’s Judy Griffiths was this week named Youth Worker of the Year at the ‘Youth Oskars’.
The event celebrated positive contributions made by young people in London. Young people, volunteer youth workers from CBHA’s youth clubs and the community development team attended the evening which was held at the Royal Festival Hall, Waterloo.
The Oskars was sponsored by Peabody and BIG Lottery as part of the ‘Our Say, Our Way’ youth project and was organised with youth action group SE1 United.
Head of community development Roz Gordon said: “I would like everyone to join me in congratulating Judy who was awarded the Youth Worker of the Year Award. She went on to make a beautiful speech about CBHA, her colleagues and the young people.”
