Cannabis farm found in flat

25 July 2011

CBHA moved swiftly when a cannabis farm was discovered in one of its properties.

More than 100 cannabis plants were discovered when a resident reported water leaking into their home from the flat above. When repairs contractors called, they discovered the flat was set up to grow cannabis, using lights and a watering hose. A hole in the hose had caused the leak.

Police were immediately alerted and removed the plants. CBHA is seeking a Possession Order on the flat.
