A big thank you goes to all CBHA residents who helped us achieve 100% gas safety inspections during the last financial year.
Contractors were given access to every single home to complete the potentially life-saving checks and receive a certified safe gas supply.
By law, the gas supply pipes and gas boiler in each home must be inspected by the landlord once a year. Only if these are found to be safe and up to standard is a gas safety certificate issued.
CBHA head of asset management Emma Luscombe said: “Residents played an enormous part in this achievement. Most are aware of the importance of the annual gas safety check and have co-operated fully and kept their appointments. CBHA staff and our contractors also worked hard to accomplish this success.”
