CBHA has now ‘easily’ achieved Investors in People (IIP) Bronze standard, building on our previous IIP accreditation.
About 20 members of staff were interviewed by the assessors who said they were impressed with the enthusiasm and commitment shown by all staff to our mission: Involving Residents and Improving Lives.
Chief executive Gary De Ferry said: “Many thanks to all those who were interviewed and were so positive about working at CBHA.”
IIP said CBHA easily met the Bronze standard and would certainly meet Silver, if we applied. They have suggested CBHA applies for Gold standard.
The standard looks at how CBHA invests in its staff to achieve the aims of the business plan. Achieving Bronze shows CBHA has focused on encouraging a good work/life balance, provides opportunities for staff training and development, and respects and promotes diversity and equality.
