Former CBHA chief executive Gary De Ferry has taken on the role of director of new business for the Group and will be based at Peabody’s Head office. Meanwhile, Paul Brown-Wood has stepped in to lead CBHA.
Paul has been with CBHA and previously the HAT for over 17 years. He began his career as a resident caretaker for the borough in 1984, moving up through senior caretaker, housing officer, principal housing officer for the HAT and into housing management.
He had a spell as revenues manager before becoming area manager and then housing director.
In addition, he served as a governor on the board of Swan Housing Group for 10 years, including a period as vice-chair there.
Paul said: “As someone who has worked as a resident caretaker, I understand the importance of involving residents in everything we do. This is key to improving our services and ensuring we give our customers what they want.”
