Come to our DIY workshops
That's handy! CBHA has organised two DIY workshops to enable residents to carry out some tasks at home themselves.
The workshops, one of which is for women only, have been planned by CBHA contractors TMA. TMA's Jason Munford said: "Residents will learn now to fix a dripping tap, put up a shelf, reset the electric trip switch - and lots more. We will ask people on the workshops exactly what they would like to learn to do."
No knowledge of DIY is needed. The first workshop will be on Saturday July 3 from 10am to 1pm and is for men and women. The second is on Wednesday July 14 from 1pm to 4pm and is for women only. It will be led by female staff from TMA. For both workshops, please meet at 3 Saxon Close, Walthamstow.
