We achieved an impressive three separate external accreditations during 2008.
The organisation was once again recognised against the Investors in People (IiP) standard in June, following a survey that demonstrated record levels of staff satisfaction. This was followed by re-recognition against Charter Mark, the government standard that assesses excellent customer service. Lastly, CBHA has been awarded Investors in Excellence (IiE) – a first for the organisation. To achieve the prestigious IiE recognition, we had to demonstrate business excellence in all areas of the organisation, measured against the Business Excellence Model.
Jude Leighton, head of service improvement and communications, said: “At CBHA, we have been developing our business improvement programme over the last few years. Among other things, this programme has been in line with the criteria outlined by IiE. We are thrilled that we have now been recognised against this standard.”
