Nominate a ‘community champion’ for the Love Your Borough Awards 

CBHA knows we have so many great, community-minded people among our residents. Now is the time to recognise them for the work they do in our areas by nominating them for a Love Your Borough Award.

The annual LBWF Love Your Borough Awards are an opportunity to celebrate the work that residents, groups, businesses, charities and other organisations do to improve the physical environment and quality of life for everyone in Waltham Forest.

We would like you to nominate someone who makes a difference to people in our communities in any way. Maybe there is someone who gives up their time to get involved in youth work or to help individuals that you could put forward. 

There are ten award categories which are: Community Group, Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year, Sports Achievement of the Year, Emergency Service Hero, Arts and Culture, Best Shop Front, Business Champion, Volunteer of the Year and Improving Your Neighbourhood. 

So if you know a community champion who deserves recognition for the effort they make to the local area make sure you nominate them before the closing date on Monday 6 February. 

Each winner will receive £250 worth of vouchers as a thank you for their dedication to Waltham Forest. Everyone who is shortlisted for an award will be invited to attend a special awards dinner in April.You can nominate online or download a nomination form to email by return from walthamforest.gov.uk
