Every elderly, disabled or vulnerable resident was telephoned or called on by CBHA during the recent bouts of snow and ice. Many have since made a special effort to thank CBHA staff, saying they really appreciated the thought.
Head of Support Services Michala Jervis said: “We just wanted to check if any of our residents needed anything during the snowy weather. Our staff either knocked on the door or rang each one individually to see if they needed bread, milk or anything else and simply to make sure they were all right. So many of them have told us it meant a lot to them.”
