Youth Website Launched

23 September 2010

Check out a cool new website about an important youth project involving CBHA young people.

Created by the young people themselves, the Our Say, Our Way website will give a voice to young people. It is part of a national youth participation programme, funded by the Big Lottery.

They will be able to share their experiences and views nationally, as part of the project which also involves young people in Chester, the North East and other parts of London.

The project was previously called Youth 4 Youth but the young people decided to rename it Our Say, Our Way.

Assistant director for employment and youth Sharon Wint-Gordon said: “They have been working very hard and now the website is here! It has been a huge challenge to bring such a fantastic resource to this stage. The young people should be extremely proud of themselves.”

They are also being trained in how to produce and update information for the website, and in blogging so they can take control of the site themselves.

Our Say, Our Way is led by Peabody and the projects are run in partnership with CBHA, Home Group Limited and Chester and District Housing Trust.

You can visit the website here at www.oursay-ourway.co.uk.
