CBHA have services available that can help you make the most of your money and improve your knowledge of financial issues.
Partnering with the East London Financial Inclusion Unit (ELFIU) we offer a wide variety of services:
• Money and Debt Advice / Financial health checks / Welfare benefit advice / Benefit uptake. CBHA Money Advisers carry out a personalised service to clients through office and telephone interviews. Extensive financial health checks are carried out and confidential advice given.
• Education / workshops on budgeting finance etc. are arranged for residents especially those at risk of losing their tenancies through financial or other poor choices.
• Promoting take up of the LBWF credit union membership through leafleting and participation in workshops with the highlighting of the benefits including access to cost-effective credit, increased choice in making financial transactions at more competitive prices, advice on financial packages etc.
