How to report a repair
• Call 020 7922 8500 and select Option 1
• Email us at services@cbha.org.uk (Do not use email to report an emergency. They should always be telephoned in.)
• Log in to My CBHA on this website and click on Report a repair
• Visit your local area office
• Write to: Repair Request, CBHA, 433-443 High Road, Leytonstone, London E11 4JU.
If the repair is an emergency and there is danger to people or property, please make sure you speak to someone in person as the other methods cannot guarantee immediate attention.
In an emergency, out of office hours, the number remains the same - 020 7922 8500.
When you contact us we will need to know:
• your name, address and telephone number;
• what the problem is (please give us as much information as you can)
• where it is
• when we can get in to do the work
• whether you have any hearing difficulties or need some time to get to the door.
We will:
• tell you if the repair is our responsibility or yours
• give you a repair or inspection order number
• tell you how soon we will do the repair. Repair requests are put into groups according to how urgent the repair is considered to be. Some repairs carried out to your property are rechargeable - you will be advised of this when you report your repair
• send you a repair receipt and customer reply card.
You should then:
• please stay in (or let us know if you have to go out) for any appointments made
• keep children and pets safe when our contractors come to carry out the repair
• please return your customer reply card to let us know what you think about the repair.
