Report a repair

You can report a repair by telephone, letter, email or personal visit to your local area office.

In an emergency, if the office is closed, you should telephone the emergency service on 020 7922 8500.

When you report a repair we will ask you:

  • your name, address and telephone number;
  • what the problem is (please give us as much information as you can);
  • where it is
  • when we can get in to do the work

We will:

  • tell you what we intend to do
  • tell you how soon we will do the repair
  • send you a repair receipt and customer reply card

You should then:

  • please stay in (or let us know if you have to go out) for any appointments made
  • please return your customer reply card to let us know what you think about the repair
