Take action
If you are a victim of any harassment, anti-social behaviour (ASB) or violence, please speak to the anti-social behaviour team or your housing manager.
We deal with complaints seriously and will always work to resolve the problem. All information provided is dealt with in confidence and not passed-on without permission.
If you have been assaulted, threatened with violence, had damage to your property or if another criminal act was involved, you should also report it to the police.
Any evidence will help us take action, so if possible:
- take a photo of anything that could be used as evidence
- make a note of the time and place
- provide details of what happended
- note down names of any witnesses
- describe the effect the action had on you
- note down the name and number of the police officer - if you have called the police
Each case is different so, with permission, we will refer you to our anti-social behaviour team, who will tell you about the options available or help you take legal action if you wish.
We can also put you in touch with one of our tenant support workers who have access to specialist advice services. Any racist graffiti will be removed within 24 hours.
Depending on the case, we can issue a formal warning to a tenant, or take out an injunction/possession order. We might consider using an acceptable behaviour contract or an anti-social behaviour order against a resident or their visitors, either to stop the behaviour or ban them from an area.
For more information, or to report anti-social behaviour, hate crime of domestic violence, contact CBHA's anti-social behaviour team or your housing manager on 020 7922 8500 or e-mail here.
In an emergency, call 999 and ask for the police.
